Dear ambassadors, dear guests,

As Chair of the Friends of Western Balkans in the Swedish Parliament, I am honoured to welcome you all as we recognize Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Independence Day.

Our Group brings together members from all parties in this Parliament, working to strengthen Sweden’s ties with the Western Balkans. We believe in cooperation, dialogue, and building strong relationships between our countries. Today, we celebrate not just Bosnia and Herzegovina’s independence, but also the friendship between our nations.

Let’s continue to work together for a future of peace and prosperity.
